Hello friends and Family...

This is "R"---

Some of you may be hearing from me for the first time, so bear with me as I try to briefly explain what I am asking for this time....

Well, most of you already know that I attend First Alliance Church in Germantown, WI. I am now part of the leadership with the Compassion MInistry, which I absolutely love being part of. I truly feel that it is where I am to be serving the Lord! My heart is just overwhelmed by all the opportunites there are out there for us to serve.

I am coming to you all with a few requests actually. Some of you may be able to help physically as you are in the area, others may want to help out but don't feel you can because you live hundreds of miles away..not true! You can ALWAYS help out and support us with prayer! Prayer is so powerful, J and I can testify to that! If you want to help out even more, please feel free to contact me and I would love to point you in the right direction.

So now to the requests...

First of all, as part of a continual project that the Compassion Ministry is doing, we are collecting travel sized items for the ReAction Packs. They are used to distribute to individuals hit by a disaster like a house fire, tornado or hurricane, etc. We are looking for items like travel sized shampoo(like from motels,etc), lotion, toothpaste as well as deoderant, tooth brushes, combs and basically anything that would be a neccesity if you lost everything all at once.

If you would be so kind to bring the donations to FAC over the next few weeks, we would really appreciate your help. The supplies are not just limited to the items I listed, you could create a woman's pack, men's pack, child's pack or a baby pack and put it in a ziplock bag and drop in the box located in the coffee nook. The possibilites are endless....anything is greatly appreciated. They do not need to be donated in "packs" you can bring 5 bottles of lotion and 2 tooth brushes...that would be wonderful!!
